Who we are
LGBT rights Northern Ireland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to tackling issues surrounding homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in Northern Ireland.
Our campaign efforts are focused on challenging these negative attitudes, fortifying and utilising human rights legislation to protect LGBT people and promoting a more tolerant and accepting society for everyone.
LGBT*phobias can cause hurt and harm to innocent and vulnerable members of society. If you, or someone you know, has experienced negative treatment or attitudes because of your sexual orientation or gender identity, we are here to help.
Homophobia, biphobia and transphobia can manifest itself in many ways including discrimination, language, bullying as well as violent and criminal behaviour.
Our members are well informed, experienced LGBT activists who work alongside expert human rights solicitors.
